About

I am a portrait photographer and visual storyteller, but I am also a researcher at heart. My passion in life has been to try to understand the complexities of human personality. A lofty goal, I know, but one that keeps me ever engaged and ever in search.

In this age of social media, we are constantly bombarded with images and content. Establishing a true connection with an audience has become harder than ever. What cuts through the noise are images that are raw, honest, and evocative; stories that capture the imagination and exemplify the human spirit.

Whether you are a musician, creative director or photo editor, my goal is to capture the essence of YOUR story and give it a visual voice that will inspire and reel in your audience.

For me, true connection starts with an open conversation. I want to understand your needs, what your aspirations are, and where you are in your story's development. I want to help bring your artistic vision to the world.

What People Are Saying

“I feel very fortunate to have had an artist like Anna part of my project. It was a pleasure working with her on the vision of the shoot. She understood that the vibe of this very intimate record needed to be conveyed through the photos and she did an excellent job. She is very creative and, of course, has a great eye. Her photos made the final album and single covers. Couldn’t be happier.”

— Ari Herstand, Songwriter and CEO of Ari's Take

“Anna listens to the music, focuses on the emotions, and interviews musicians about the stories that inspired it all. By the time we were through our interview, I knew she was emotionally connected and I couldn’t wait for our session. Our amazing photos that resulted reflect her skill and empathic approach - Anna is a wonderful photographic artist.”

— Ryan Gibeau, Musician and Founder of Rock*It Films

“You go through life often feeling like nobody, and I felt like somebody for a good few hrs. Thank you. ...that’s what you invite - as I’m sure you’ve been told before. You invite openness. You have such a gift for making people like myself feel welcome.”

— Arlo Hannigan, Songwriter
